Financial Planner (Production Planner)

Our client a leading manufacturer of valves and fittings for various pipeline systems worldwide. This is a key financial planning role for an individual that has several years of experience and a desire to grow and take on additional responsibility. This role requires someone that has a strong background in financial planning in a production environment, is capable of working closely with internal cross functional partners as well as suppliers. This position offers tremendous growth opportunity in this $1.3+ billion corporation at this facility that does over $80 million in yearly revenue with a staff of less than 150. Experience in capacity planning, Global supply chain & production control knowledge, lean and inventory reduction techniques. QAD experience a plus. Effective communication, computer, problem solving and analytical skills needed. APICS certification a plus. Schedules and coordinates the flow of work within or between departments to expedite production. Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications. Will be responsible for establishing priorities and availability, or capability, of workers, parts, materials, machines and equipment. Analyzes and plans material requirements by determining the quantity and date materials are needed to ensure optimal inventory levels. Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications. Prepares and processes requisitions as appropriate.
